Student Lounge

The 10,000 sq ft student lounge and multipurpose “Greenhouse” Room renovation in the Hofstra University Student Center create a strong brand identity for the university.  The program and design were developed in meetings with representatives of the Division of Student Affairs, the Student Government Association, Greek organizations, and Facilities and Operations to resolve conflicting claims and achieve consensus.

The renovation provides a gathering space for university functions, student government, fraternities, sororities, and religious life. In the words of the Vice President of Student Affairs, a “both/and” solution.”
