Pace Laboratories

The renovation of the four (4) science labs represents the third phase of the master plan to modernize the forty-year-old Chemistry Department facility at Pace University’s New York City campus. The project includes converting an existing Biology Research Lab into two Biology Teaching Labs and renovating two existing chemistry labs into a new Organic Chemistry Lab and Physics Lab.

Each lab is approximately 2,000 sq. ft. with the new biology labs sharing a common prep room. Lab layouts were carefully worked out with the faculty to fulfill modern teaching requirements. The renovated labs received new infrastructure, interior finishes, lab casework and tops, service fittings, fume hoods, and AV improvements.
