Waterfront Center
Fordham University's new Waterfront Center is conveniently located on Eastchester Bay in the Bronx, just four miles east of the Rose Hill campus. It will be constructed on a plot currently occupied by a long-shuttered Westchester Country Club building, which was damaged by Hurricane Sandy in 2012. This new center will free the University from the need to rent space at various locations on the Harlem River and Eastchester Bay, making it easier for student-athletes to take to the water promptly and efficiently during practice time.
The new facility will provide state-of-the-art storage, repair shops, and docks for the varsity men's and women's rowing teams, as well as men's crew, co-ed sailing, and women's sailing.
The docks are expected to be completed for the fall 2024 sailing season.
