KBA was hired to provide architectural services for for Fordham University’s Queens Court, one of its oldest buildings and an NYC individual landmark. This included exterior improvements and structural modifications on the first floor via the basement level.

Deterioration of the building’s facade required restoration of masonry and wood details for 54 window openings in the interior courtyard, as well as repair of the masonry on the outward-facing side of the building.

The first-floor structural repairs necessitated a substantial reorganization of compromised MEP systems, which required coordinated removal and redesign of plumbing, electrical, lighting, and fireproofing systems.
